Gift Guide: Luxury Watches

Luxury watches have long been a passion of mine.  They make a great gift and, with the holidays fast approaching, I thought I would round up some of my favorites.

Gift Guide: Luxury Watches

You can’t go wrong with a watch from Bulova.  Bulova is an American brand that has been around since 1875.  They are known for their craftsmanship and advanced technology.  The stainless steel model pictured above is one of my personal favorites.  You might also try one with a leather strap in brown or black.

For a luxury watch that is a bit more sporty, give Tissot a try.  Tissot was founded in the mid-nineteenth century in a small town in Le Locle, one of the cradles of Swiss watchmaking.  The high caliber of the brand has been repeatedly recognized.  The Tissot Seastar 1000 that is pictured above is actually a diving watch.  I also like the Quickster Nato which is a sporty watch with interchangeable bands.

Hamilton was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  They made their name early on providing accurate watches to the railroad.  Today Hamilton is a leading brand with a reputation for creating elegant and reliable watches.  The Khaki Skeleton is pictured above and it provides an amazing 3D experience as well as strong character.  I am also a fan of the Khaki Pioneer and the Flintridge Gent.

Longines has been based at Saint-Imier in Switzerland since 1832.  They are famous for the elegance of their timepieces.  The Hydroconquest is pictured above and is a high performance timepiece that maintains the elegance that you would expect from the brand.  I also recommend their Heritage Collection which combines the original beauty of former products with cutting-edge watchmaking technology

Since 1884, Breitling has been manufacturing chronometer-certified movements making them the ultimate watch for precision.  This Swiss watch brand has the high honor of being named the official supplier to world aviation.  The Transocean Chronograph is pictured above and is my personal favorite from this brand.

Raymond Weil is known for excellence in watchmaking with a passion that has been handed down from generation to generation.  The Toccata is pictured above and is a stunning piece from this Swiss watchmaker.

Gift Guide: Luxury Watches

Luxury watches make a great gift for the holidays.  I have highlighted a few of my favorite pieces from the men’s collections however all of these brands make great timepieces for women as well.  Which of these luxury watches is your favorite?  Will you be giving any luxury timepieces this year?
