To be a homeowner (as a single woman-of-color-immigrant-lady boss-first-time-home-buyer) has always been a vaguely ludicrous, perhaps even completely unattainable dream. But, in 2017, Chris Picket helped turn that dream is reality. I had been searching and putting in offers in the LA area for 1.5 years before I met Chris. I would also making it to the top tier of the offers, but was inevitably muscled out by cash buyers. I felt I had no business calling Chris has he handles multi-million dollar properties and A-listers within the Hollywood community. Nevertheless, I called up Chris out of the blue and explained my situation. He said first-time homeowners were his favorite and that he wanted to help me find the right home. Chris is the type of business partner who listing agents really enjoy working with - he doesn't nag, he doesn't try to manipulate you and he's fair. He's calm, organized and doesn't lose his cool. So he's great to work with no matter which side of the table you're sitting on. Fundamentally, he helped me structure a winning deal that the buyer couldn't say no to and he's known as a closer. He and his staff were prompt and attentive to all my questions - which really helped move things along. Chris also happens to be exceptionally talented and a kind Real Estate Agent, who provided a quality experience and a good humored one. I wasn't traumatized, rather when I closed, I felt empowered.

Rick seemed to have the best grasp of the situation when we interviewed Realtors to sell our house. Since we had already purchased a home elsewhere, we were not looking to have the house sit on the market for a long time and then have to continually lower the price to chase the market. Rick presented the best plan to achieve our goal. His estimate was the highest of the over half-dozen agents we interviewed and he had the house sold within days of the listing being posted, and at a higher price. During the escrow period Rick and his team were constantly in contact with us. Very few days went by without some contact. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Tressana was extremely helpful at all stages of the selling process. She totally organized the preparation of the house for sale, which turned out to be a complicated process because of the accumulation of 20 years of clutter, and transformed it into a bright and attractive property. She has a great range of important contacts when it came to the contractors we required for repairs - electricians, painters, stagers, and tradesmen of all kinds - and she was always on top of them to make sure the work was done in a timely way, and was done properly and thoroughly. She was not just trying to make the place just superficially more attractive, but respectful of the needs of the buyer too. The marketing process, including the photography and all aspects of the listing, were perfect. She knows all the relevant regulations inside out and was 100% correct in all her estimates of how things needed to move forward. She was tactful and honest and forthright in her negotiations with potential buyers and kept us in the loop at every step. Her judgment about the timing of the sale and the offering price proved to be totally sound and the net result was that we sold it for quite a bit above the asking price in a matter of a few days after it was listed. She was so thorough in her presentation of the property that the escrow proceeded with no contingencies and was closed within the projected time frame. On top of all this, she is simply a delightful and personable realtor who really goes out to bat for her clients and goes above and beyond in her efforts to serve them.

Rachel turned out to be the first and only agent we worked with and guided us confidently throughout the whole process. Once we had our eyes set on a property, Rachel really made us feel comfortable and helped us strategize on placing competitive offers. Afterwards, we really relied on Rachel as we were mostly remote during the escrow process. She coordinated all inspections, made numerous trips to the property in our place, and overall was extremely communicative.
